It was weird how Arizona got really good for a minute and then never close again.

They made their bones in 92 breaking the UW streak. They had been blown out in 90 and 91
That was a good Zona team. Great defense that modeled it's philosophy after UW iirc.
That didn't make me feel any better when they beat UW though. That was the end of the streak of greatness that started in 1990. The shine was unmistakeably gone for the apple cup and rose bowl.
