Ethan Garbers, 2020 4* QB, Newport Beach (Corona Del Mar), CA (Committed)

The thing that stood out to me was that DJ Ukelele was also at this camp, also got an Elite 11 invite... but Garbers was the QB MVP

I hope Garbers is just a party animal that is a recruiting host legend and be known for his winter break parties where he invites all the homies to some dope ass Newport Beach house.

To me, him becoming that is more important than him becoming a great QB. It carries more value, sentimentally.

It's never a bad sign when a kid performs well at camps. Sure, there have been some total nobody college QB's who were camp MVP's but the list of pro QB's who competed at the Elite 11 is impressive. The chances that Garbers is more than a JAG just went up in my book.

That would be Matt Fink who was rumored to be transferring to Illinois but he came out and denied that. Jack Sears has started a QB controversy at SC because the new OC is rumored to like him more than JT after Spring ball.

Not sure when this was announced but Garbers made the Elite 11 finals along with DJ Ukelele, Bryce Young, and some other guys not going to the pac-12
 
Is this the kind of camp in California that jake Browning has never been told he could go to until he graduated?
