ESPN on new 4-team playoff

They say the 13-person committee is going to place a heavy emphasis on strength of schedule. Woodward might want to rethink scheduling the likes of Portland State, Idaho State and Georgia State.

Really Derek? Pretty clear weve touched on this to the point of puking already. UW has traditionally scheduled a solid ABC, AAB and ABB schedule. Not our fault Hawaii and Georgia St stink this year.

And UW isnt playing Georgia St the week before the apple cup. The SEC barely plays a BCC schedule so I think you should question Auburn's AD first

Example #213 that PL_SS is a Doog:

"Not our fault that Hawaii and Georgia St stink this year."

Here's a clue fucko, Hawaii tradionally sucks and Georgia St is in it's 2nd or 3rd year of D1.

Exactly, because when Woody was scheduling Georgia State he did it with the thought they would be a top 25 team by then.

Georgia State just needs more time to get their D1 guys in there.

I will believe it when I see it. It is still going to be the same dog and pony show it ever was. SEC Champion will be in there… NEXT it will be the #3 SEC team that didn't get into the Championship Game, but everyone says is the second-best team in the country, then undefeated BCS schools regardless of schedule.

Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.

Adjusted for appropriate amount of bias.

The reason we scheduled Georgia State is because of five two reasons. The first is they needed D1 games but struggled because most teams filled out their non-conference schedules years ago. We had an opening because of the Hawaii game, so rather than take an extra BYE, Woody though it'd be worthwhile to schedule another game and make a few extra bucks.

The second reason is because GSU has a number of former Huskies on the staff, mainly Willingham era guys. Trent Miles is the coach, along with Lappano, JD Williams and Luke Huard (always wondered what happened to him, guess he's out there doing nothing). With so many PNW guys on the roster, it makes sense for them to want to play games up here in order to establishing a recruiting foothold here in the state and region. Not only will they be able to recruit the south for Sun Belt-caliber recruits, but they'll be able to pick up kids from the PNW who would otherwise be destined to Idaho, Wyoming or Eastern. This game makes so much more sense for GSU than it does for UW and the only reason we're doing it is because they needed games and Woody is being nice to some old coaches.

Anyone who thought GSU would be good or even respectable is out of their mind. The game is entirely political between Woodward and those old Huskies stuck down in Atlanta.
