It's a pretty deep draft. Kaepernick doesn't bring much to a team, on or off the field. Would rather draft a younger / better QB who has more upside. If the stater got hurt in game 1, all he'd have to go is 4-11 to have more wins in his 1st 15 games than 3-16 Kaepernick had in his last 19.

Someone pointed out there are over 90 quarterbacks in the NFL. 3 per team. Karo isn't 91st. He can play or back up

I doubt that stat is true, a lot of teams only have 2.

Kaep's not practice squad eligible so I'm not sure how that's relevant.

Also not even completely true, Seattle's gone without a practice squad QB more often than not. I imagine that's unusual, though I really don't know.

So you agree that most do have a practice squad QB. I'm not sure how Karo not being eligible for the practice squad is relevant.
