I have a couple reasons to want Penix to win the Heisman:

I bought a #PenixforHeisman poster from Keegan Hall. Kinda wish it didn’t have the #PenixforHeisman on it because it’s perfect without it.

Having a Heisman winner moves UW up on the list of overall great schools. It’s not quite SRS gay but only a little gay and it’s stat padding UW’s overall rep.

It gives Oregon fans one less thing to yap about.

Triggering back to Petermen days most definitely...well and just last season. Fucking ASU, I'm glad we killed the curse this year but I'm also glad we never have to play them in conference ever again.
 
He did play at LSU, so he’s not biased or anything.

I’m sure Brock Huard would be in Michael Penix’s corner just as much.
 
ASU really showed the backbone of this team. Murphy’s Law, everything that could go wrong did and despite that this shit, this suspect defense nutted up and delivered even when then offensive genius Grubb could not figure out a way to defend an all out blitz. That defensive performance showed that this UW team was special. The defense was out there like 40 min or something and they did not look tired at all - talk about conditioning and mental tuffness. I think we will jerk off about the ASU win for years if they hang the banner
