ESPN hates UW and they want you to know it

NLF.com made a list of the Top 15 away game experiences and placed UW on the list. Hurray, right?

Skinny: Husky Stadium takes a backseat to no football edifice when it comes to most scenic location. The stadium overlooks Lake Washington and offers views of the Seattle skyline, Mt. Rainier, the Cascade Mountains and the Olympic Mountain Range. Fans can boat to the game, and Husky Stadium also gets extremely loud.

Yeah, that's fine and dandy. I mean, the section is necessarily limited in scope; Huguenin is not the most technically gifted of writers, and his own personal biases are on display in multiple areas, but it's FREE PUB!, so I'm happy.

Even better when ESPN, the lazy bastards, take this FREE PUB! and post it to their site as more FREE PUB!. The Pac-12 blog writes:

UW's main thing it had going for it? You guessed it. Everyone calls it "The best view in college football" for a reason. "Husky Stadium takes a backseat to no football edifice when it comes to most scenic location," Huguenin wrote. But that same edifice, which features an open end zone, allows for a bit of a breeze (we'll call it) at times and Arizona State might remember that. Seattle Times writer Adam Jude referred to that weather as "nearly impossible weather conditions" in his gamer on the Oct. 27 matchup. But hey, when the upside of that stadium is a view onto the Olympic mountain range, we'll take bad days like that every now and then.

W. JW.

Huguenin does all the research, names all the locations, and the Pac-12 blog still manages to fuck things up.

The view of the Olympics is better from the 7-11 on Aurora in the U-District.

Why can't Husky Stadium just be known for good football and parking lot rapes?

Chantel Jennings is your source?

Chantrel Jennings_FS. is dialed in:

Washington QB Cyler Miles: It's always tough to see a kid's career end so early, especially when it's because of medical reasons. But no one saw Miles' retirement coming. Most anticipated he'd be the Huskies' starting quarterback when they took the field at Boise State. Without Miles in spring camp, coach Chris Petersen got a good look at a few of his guys, but it'll still be pretty surprising to not see No. 10 out there this fall.

Fucking WOW.

In her defense, the medical retirement element of the story was a bit of a curveball (whether it's Bullshit or real).

But yeah, not seeing cyler in the fall was pretty much guaranteed.
