Their fans are way less doogishly retarded than ours. I was hoping it'd last a lot longer until people realized the first paragraph runs completely antithetical to the rest of the post lol. Or that the famed rose bowl was a consolation game.

Depends on who you ask. There's plenty of people who are already on the #firehelton bandwagon. They want him gone immediately. But then again, those people tend to be emotion-driven and they're tweeting at Lane Kiffin saying "come back to USC". Some fans have confidence in him that is slowly dwindling (i.e. me). I don't think Helton should be canned mid-season, and I still think he's right for the job, but the personnel below him needs to be changed. Starting with the Tee Martin (OC) and Ivan Lewis (S&C coach).

I get the narrative is to make fun of Helton but he has done more in two years than Peterman will in five and recruits like a bandit.

Again, let him suck first. Losing to David Shaw is what everyone not named David Shaw does in the Pac-12 on a regular basis.

I will be podding from the USC porking lot tonight if Helton gets fired. Last time I attended a USC game was when we? got Sark canned.

I agree. Between sanctions, Kiffen, and Sark, the Trojans have been a complete mess. Finally they have a grown up doing things the Trojan way. Give Helton three more years to get his guys in there before judging.
