Nirvana had 1 good album. Should have never made it this far.

I think they had more like 4. Nevermind and In Utero are both essential listening. The live album was by far the best and most interesting of the "unplugged" rage of the 90's; their choice of covers here was fantastic and might make this my favorite Nirvana recoding. Insecticide had plenty of important tracks as well. Yeah, their career was very short but extremely productive.

Agreed. Nevermind is one of the best albums ever and In Utero very strong.

S/O to Va Tech for having the hardest entrance in all of CFB.

Someone should start a thread about what song UW should enter to?

I like Metallica. I could name 20 songs off the top of my head. I even listened to St Anger and the album after that. Like Pup, I don’t need to Google. I love Swaye. They are not a top 4 of all time tho. Not even close.

Kurt was kind of a cunt and that would have shown had lived, but he was a genuine person who despite being immensely popular, was not part of the machine. He was ahead of the times regarding social issues. That means dick if the music sucked, but the guy was special.

In Utero was a steam pile. I’d give more props to Bleach. And an unplugged show does not an album make.

Didn't like In Utero either. Their earlier stuff was better. Smells Like Teen Spirit was such a bad ass song that it alone could beat a lot of the bands in this contest. Sliver was another classic song.

What if it's an unplugged album that tops most artists best studio work? Take a whinny fast strategy dude from Aberdeen and have him cover Lead Belly songs. Brilliant.
