The recruiting news this weekend is that we received a commitment from a CB who holds offers from 3 other Pac-12 schools. Sure, not the sexiest of news, but easily the biggest news of the month regarding Husky football. So you figure that'd be the lead story right?

Wrong.

I don't have access (never have, never will), but I can see the intro and it leads off with Eklund commenting about the loss of 3 PSAs, including two who we pretty sure weren't coming here (Humphreys and Pistone). Why, instead of focusing on a kid who chose to be a Husky for Husky fans on a Husky site, does Eklund write a column criticizing Petersen and his inability to recruit?

What's really weird about this is that Sark actually lost an elite local QB (Browne), and that was no big deal to LP3. But Eason commits 18 mths before he signs (to Georgia?!), and it's the end of the world. I have 100% confidence predicting the kid doesn't play for Georgia. And he's likely coming to UW when all is said and done. But that's not stopping Kim & ecklund from ripping coach Pete.
