Meh Texas and A&M are still rebuilding and Oklahoma doesn’t have the academis that African parents desire. Flew out here on his on dime to visit and UW already has one African kid from Allen doing well. It’s going to be a tough battle but I think we have a legit shot with this kid.

He'll probably end up at Bama. His dad played for Wake Forest in college and seems like a helluva guy. His granddad immigrated when his dad was like 5 and is a prof in NJ, I believe.
He also went to Oregon.
I know we are going to try like crazy with this kid, but I think ultimately he'll end up at either
1. Bama (Saban has a similar pitch to ours, plus wins Natties instead of games against Cal)
2. Texas (Academics basically similar to UW and close to home, good recruiting coach)
3. Ohio State (basically a combo of Bama and Texas)
Etc.
This kid will probably not be a 5-star because he's 6'2, but fuck he's really good.

EJ seems like the ultimate slow strategy kid that loves Pete's pitch. Getting two unofficials from a Texas kid in a 3 month span is something.
Once the other schools figure out how to pitch to him we probably have no chance. But we'll get an official visit and the all important hat on the table.
