The entire school system needs to be gutted. Given the strength of the teacher's unions it may be impossible, but a separate system needs to be built. This is cancer

It's really all about who goes into teaching these days. A lot of single women who have been radicalized by their college education. Vouchers are the only answer. Yes some parents will still make shitty choices on where they send their kids but many won't and the system as it exists now gives them no choice.
The public schools were already trending down but what Obama did with school discipline policies fast-tracked the decline. Class rooms are no longer places where learning is even possible.

Teachers unions care about the kids. That’s why they oppose school choice.
Except when they put their own kids in private school because they know how bad it is. Same with every dem president candidate since Carter.

I’m old enough to remember when teachers got unemployment in the summer. Ones who weren’t worthless worked in the papal mill on the extra board.
