Both of those guys kinda suck, but knowing how this shit works:
Sexy grandpa Wittingham will get 1500 yards out of Pledger and Wilcox’s Woodie will be awful except for against Oregon and Washington where he will dominate.

Seriously, why isn’t Washington ever using the portal? There’s definitely dudes good enough to contribute out there, and even if they’re not grad transfers they can still get into the university. I’ve seen y’all’s WRs - there are better ones in the portal for JonDon to not throw to. Even sweater vest Helf, who had his own OKG shit and loved to tell recruits to visit Alabama to make super sure it’s not the right choice, liked a transfer here and there.

Washington uses the portal all the time, just usually in the outbound direction.

After hearing about PE credits for 20 years as a primary reason why you can't expect UW to compete... How much would it cost to add a PE/kinesiology major? Couldn't it just be chalked up as an AD expense?
 
The PE credit issue is only an issue if the player was a nonqualifier out of HS. Then they need an Associates degree to transfer in. If the kid filled up elective credits with PE classes as part of his AA then UW can't accept him.

A full qualifier out of HS can always transfer to UW and it won't matter what shit classes he's been taking at whatever school he's coming from.
 
End of the day UW needs to be really aware of the fact that they could end up being a net developer of talent and end up seeing that talent look to greener pastures when it makes sense
