false!!!!!!!!... it almost did go down in 2010 and 2011. Central played to within 3 points in 2010 of Eastern (the same year they won the natty!) and then the following year Eastern pushed the Huskeeis around in HS, piling up massive yardage in the old good stadium, but lost on turnovers.
