Dylan Morris, 4* 2019 QB, Graham (Graham-Kapowsin), WA (COMMITTED)

Is it to late to mention my Brother went to college with Mrs. Morris? I saw her at a party when visiting him. It was so clear to me then. I walked up and told her she had a damn special egg in her.

The Washington commit simply turned the ball over too much on Monday, throwing five interceptions, the most of any quarterback competing. The Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin product completed 35 of 54 passes, good enough for a 65 percent completion rate, and added five touchdown throws as well.

His decision making is an issue. Browning tucks, rolls, and takes sacks. Morris, a gunslinger, makes ill advised throws, much too often.

If Morris gets under center at UW, the more he plays, the more we’ll miss Jake Browning.

Okay I'll bite, what makes you say that?

Small, not a great arm. 'Accurate' given everything goes right. Does well in camp settings. Does well in controlled environments.

His game does not scale to big time college football very well IMHO.

He has a decent arm, though. He's far away from being able to run our offense and go through progressions properly but he has some throws on tape that are borderline NFL quality. I'm talking deep outs from the far hash that are on the fucking money, where only his receiver can get it. There are draft prospects out there who can't do that.

He also has a pretty quick release, works under center some, has decent mobility, and his footwork is quite good for someone his age. He's been coached surprisingly well. Again, none of that matters if he can't make good reads and good decisions after the snap, and it worries me how many of his highlights involve play-action, but let's not write him off because he has the wrong body-type.

@NorwegianHusky was dialed the fuck in

Big if true
Dylan Morris has guts and guts is enough. Great game 51-50 GK wins. Morris throws td strike then hits 2 pt conversion pass to win it. GK was down 15 in 4th.

I mean, his arm isn't amazing, but he's got unreal touch and ball placement. I've been saying that. He can drop it anywhere, and he knows to place it where only his receiver can get it.

Not gonna read too much into it, but it's at least somewhat promising if you try to predict his gamer qualities. Let's hope he has balls when he gets here.

@creepycoug Pressing, hard.

RIP
