Dwag Defense

People need to chill about the defense
It's not going to be an elite defense … it also doesn't need to be with the offense
The DL depth has made a difference in the run game … it will get tested next week
If there's a weakness to the defense its at LB, some of the safety play, and in the slot
I actually think it's the coaching. Guys are not getting blown off the ball or missing tackles it's that there's no one near the guy catching the ball even though it's the 783rd best WR in the country running a drag route or a 3rd down comeback at the sticks

I also see decent push from the Dline and they're getting close to the QB often but the tape is clear. Throw the ball quickly on short routes. Profit.

All 3 teams haven't tried to run it they just throw 6 yards routes on repeat

So the entire middle of our defense is toast. Sounds bad!

So all we can do is put our fingers in the dike and pray?

Yeah, it was amazing how sound our tackling was even though WSU was able to easily get any amount of yards they needed on 3rd down. It seemed like players didn't know their assignments. For example, the first Coug TD where #17 completely missed the eligible receiver that ran right by him. Way too much of that.

I don't need to make shit up.
Stop lying dipshit. Between not adding anything of substance or funny you were having a meltdown about the site issues during the Colorado State game thread with upwards of 10 separate comments and at least 3 or 4 different posters including Derek basically called you out including the site owner specifically asking you to message him privately. You were shitposting from two different fronts numbnuts.

Game 2 - between you and ntx craving approval from fans of big brother and AOC complaining about watching Cal.Davis and doubling down needing to post his displeasure in multiple comments while wasting more of his so called valuable time in a cal.Davis game thread when he could have simply turned the channel like a normal sports fan.

I have to give AOC credit because he didn’t attempt to grab attention like your dumb ass yesterday and simply took a hint unlike yourself. In fact, just prior to the game beginning and 10 minutes into the first quarter you started to shitpost like games 1 and 2. You finally got in line once I called you out again, and your idiot Preston comment and drawing attention to yourself and Nike U. Now who’s making shit up? There’s 3 game threads of evidence you retard. Fuck off

Coug also converted a 4th down on a quick crossing route that had Jacob fucking Lane make the tackle after dropping into coverage.

Why is our best pass rusher dropping into coverage on 4th and 4?

I will say, not considering opponent, the tackling, and open field tackling has been good. Particularly McLaughlin. Long ways to go but he could easily be our best portal player on defense in progrum history pretty soon.
