I wanted a rematch with Buck or Indiana. This screams be careful what you wish for.
Beat Washington nothing else matters, actually legitimately today.
Get the 1 or 5 seed regardless of next week.
Also I’d enjoy beating OSU, UM, Penn state and winning the conference in our first season in thee B1G.
Franklin has an tOSU problem, same as Day has a Michigan problem. PSU has a tuff defense outside buck and their TE is a difference maker on offense. I believe the game will be closer than the experts here on HH believe or maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part.Penn State too beat up to pull this off. Ducks win rather easily say 34-17.
And Oregon is down both starting guards. The spread is 3. That's like a 55% win rate. People sleeping on whatever the fuck a Nittany Lion is aren't paying attention.PSU lost their starting RT and a rotational defensive tackle against Minnesota. They also have no WRs who can really separate and the best one got hurt in practice last week where he didn't play against Maryland. One of the safeties I believe is banged up too which is on top of the best safety who was lost for the season very early in the year. Anyway, everyone suffers injuries but I think the Ducks getting the late season bye will help immensely, while PSU is on something like 6 straight weeks of games now against B1G teams. Not sure if Oregon has any significant injuries now that Tez Johnson is back.
PSU's offense just kills me to watch. They should be able to run the ball against anyone with the two supposedly really good RBs and a good line, even with injuries, but it is always more of a struggle than it should be, and they can not hit explosive plays to WRs against good teams. The two RBs have not lived up to what they should be this year. Which is why the TE becomes the focal point of the offense.
ATBSJBS, PSU can win if they get a couple of breaks.
Shit yall down your guards? Ok yeah this is gonna be a slug fest. And Oregon is down both starting guards. The spread is 3. That's like a 55% win rate. I haven’t watched much Oregon this year, just a bit of the OSU and Wisconsin games at the end, some flipping to the UW game, but I’ve watched a ton of PSU.
They’re always in it and surely will come down to a couple key decisions and plays. Top level analysis right there. They don’t inspire confidence but that’s largely because of all the much better football I saw last year.
