Both are great. Goodfellas is more entertaining, faster paced, better to watch 20 min of, etc.

Godfather II is the best movie ever.

Like I said - that double story line at the same time, providing escalating context and irony to the descent of MC into mob mindset... without being dramatic about it... just in a matter of fact way... with so many iconic scenes and moments... it’s unbeatable
