Even the Hawaii Bowel announced higher attendance than that (by like 45).

I'd love to see actual turnstile counts for both games.

Yes, indeed. (Some of the lowest tier) Bowl games are a fucking joke.

 
People forget the importance of a shit bowel is the 15 extra practices. It's the same as getting another spring camp and solid programs use it as such.

I have no problem with solid programs earning 15 or so extra practices. Its the marginal .500 programs, like Utah, that don't really deserve the reward.

(this would be a much better response to BitchFork but, oh well its still funny, to me, after 23 times).

On a more serious note, it does seem like NCAA football attendance will continue to drop and or level off with fans being unable to plan trips more than a week or two in advance.

It took a lot of planning for me to drive 4.5 hours east on the 10
