"You need coaching continuity to succeed! You can't just keep firing coaches all the time. Look at the good teams they all have continuity."

When in reality it's good coaching then produces continuity while continuity doesn't equal good coaching.

Stanford and Oregon seem to be doing fine despite their lack of coaching continuity.

This is the most dangerous of all doogisms. The facts are simple. "Coaching continuity" with a guy who's not getting it done is tantamount to program suicide.

I've heard softy say his "success" in years 1 and 2 raised the expectations over what they should've been in years 3&4 quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard

I heard it with Ty after 2007 "What you want to just fire a coach so we have 4 head coaches in a 6 year span. I'm glad you aren't A.D."

Now I'm hearing it with Sark. "You can't just keep firing coaches all the time. Look around the league."

Too bad Alabama got immediately great in Saban's 2nd year, Ohio State went from 6-7 to undefeated in Meyer's first year, Stanford/Oregon recent examples.

Oklahoma is the best example the 90's had like 5 coaches in 7 years and won a Natty in Stoops 2nd year.

It's mind boggling when you bring up actual facts to this myth these doogs still argue it.
 
Sark runs a "pro style" offense ! The fucking idiot. If he truly did he'd be challenging for the pac12 title this year .
OK class, how do we shut down spread offenses? We pound the football like Stanford, keep DAT off the field, kill the clock, play killer defense (which we will ), make field goals and punt well.

Sark ditched the run game ((Sankey did most on his own and in a sort of play-action mode) Sark hasn't lined it up and ran the football since his 1st year. David Shaw lines it up and beats you, Sark puts KP in the gun and uses Sankey for the sneaky little bursts of yardage (big difference)

Second Myth? Sark is an offensive genious. The dude is a paranoid and undisciplined playcaller. Worst I've ever seen, solely because he's the head coach. If he'd ditch playcalling he'd succeed here. He wont so he wont.

You might be right. Shit even iDawg(RIP) was saying Wilcox should be head coach.

This might be our first "nega" myth I suppose.
