How many Haener threads are there? How many should there be?
 
USC doesn't obsess over recruiting because they don't have to. They do have enough talent to win at least the south every year right now

They need gameday coaches and practice developers. Then they can ramp up to Pete Carroll recruiting rather easily

UW needs evaluators and recruiters and gameday coaches. Williams as a recruiter is a A plus and I'm not a huge TBS guy

We? can find someone to put two safeties deep and get run on all day

Good Leaders/Managers are excellent delegating. You are a lights out recruiter but suck at actually coaching? Here is a shitload of money and a "Co-Assistant to the Regional Manager DC" made up position. Now go and recruit 24/7 and I will hire an actual defensive mind you can learn from on the job.

If Deboer can land Donte and hire an actual decent DC to be Co-DCs then it shows at least he gets it. Jimmy brought players who had been at UW for 3 years back and bragged about how good he was at recruiting like he just landed 5 stars because they didn't go the draft. Deboer might still suck in the end but he would be off to a great start and at least show he gets it.
