Don James has cancer

Is James an organ donor? If so, he could make a final parting gift to the program by giving Sark his "balls". We all know Sark will never grow a set of his own and Woody is not going fire him.

It is a damn shame that James doesn't have a statue yet. I don't understand why this obvious move hasn't happened yet.

The guy is a legend and brought our program to consistent heights we hadn't seen since the Dobie years.

It's also not a coincidence the program went back to mediocrity to down right shitty to now average after he was left.

can we save the sympathy train for classy boards. Everybody is going to miss the dawgfather, but he's not going to live forever. I mean, he in his 80s. He's going to die of something. Especially in this economy.

80 is a decent run. I'd take it. But like I said, if he is going to "go out fighting", it's going to be a horrible year and a half for him. I realize I'm pancreatic cancer superiority guy, but I was with a friend on mine when he died of this at 40 and know two others that went through it. Good Christ, no way would I go through that. I'd smoke weed and talk shit like Lane Kiffen and try to have the best year possible. Pancreatic cancer and lung cancer...two bad mother fuckers.

Fuck classy boards. Stanford's is dead and with only 200 fans, Coach James would not get enough sympathy there.
