Does Crane's retirement open up a spot for 2016's class?

When Dwayne Washington declared for the draft, his spot likely opened up the scholarship for Pleasant.

We're at 86 scholarships right now with Crane retiring. It makes you wonder if him retirement will open up a spot for someone else or whether they'll just hold off on going after anyone in 2016 and save it for 2017 instead. 2017 has an even smaller senior class than 2016, so I can them waiting if they don't think anyone out there is worth it this year.

Still, I'll ask the TBS experts what they think Petersen will do with Crane's scholarship given the circumstances with NLI day only 5 days away.

Pretty sure Deontae Cooper sold his couch too from his social media accounts

Cut off the caption but it says "New Beginnings"

I've a little bit of a problem listening to this guy bitch about anything. We've basically paid for him to be a doctor.

It's a neat story, but it's 6 years old. If coaches believed in him my ass. Why would they, did he forget his massive choke job in Tucson? I certainly havent.

Cooper is never going to get an opportunity to be anything more than a spot back in this program ...

If he wants to play significant snaps, he'll have to go somewhere else and probably a lower level ...

My guess is that if he's leaving it is a situation where both sides are ok with it.

The PLU Lutes or UPS Loggers may have an open spot for a running back

Does this mean he'd be ok with losing to Bellevue High School?

Cooper playing the role of the homeless guy who complains that the sandwich you gave him doesn't have mustard

Yeah, but when he eats it, there isn't a dry eye in the house.
