I never have — and I'm not sure I personally know any[/i] Husky fan — casual or rabid — who does.

Used to listen to games on the radio with BobRob back when I was a kid and cheered for them to win unless it was against UW.

Lost that as enthusiasm for WSU's success as I got older, but the only time I avidly root against the Cougs now is when one of their trademark collapses seems within reach.

Hating Wazzu is like hating this guy

I actually hate that guy. Don’t hate the coug. Just some of their dipshit delusional fans once every 5-8 years.
 
Most of my friends are cuog, and I was very close to being one. During my “recruitment”, they were top 3 Beisbol on the west coast. Never really considered UW, but my first college football game was UW/UCLA, and I got hooked. I have been amazed for decades (?!) at the hatred for UW, but I understand it…I am in the camp of rooting for cuog unless it is against “us”(?), or if their loss is UW’s gain…
 
Coug are not threatening enough to hate them. Frankly, I enjoy their 10 win seasons which always end in an Apple Cup loss. Go Coug!
 
Not at all. It is good for both schools to have the Apple Cup mean something

Beating WSU to prevent them from a Rose Bowl in 2018 are the kind of games I'd like to see more of.

The spectacle they made after the 2021 Apple Cup was fine.

Going and hiring security guards to surround their ugly ass logo after this year's game was the softest, most pathetic thing to happen in this soft ass conference. The pre-game spot they did walking the dogs and then they pull that knowing they were probably going to lose. Fucking amateur hour.

All the loudmouth radio cheerleaders like Moore and Puckett.

Hate the cuog.

I don't hate them, they are our little brothers. The only team I straight up hate is Oregon. Miami used to fall in that category but no more
 
Over the years, I’ve started to kind of like the Cougs. It was fun in the Pete and Leach years when they would have good seasons only to get beaten badly by UW. The 2016 Apple Cup was one of my favorite games I’ve ever watched.

As a kid, I did like listening to Bob Robertson on the radio.
 
There were times in the 80s and 90s when they would beat uw that the hatred flowed.

Ryan leaf celebrating on the field, chuck nelson missing…

But I’ve enjoyed dominating coug fans for a while. It’s nice to have them there.

Hate Oregon -- without a fucking doubt. They're douche nozzles, the lot of them.

Hate WSU -- nah. Just enjoy beating the fuck out of them. It's a ritual.
 
I don’t like them. I was raised not to. Hate is a strong word I reserve for Oregon but Losing to them really stings.
