A big part of the reason I left the dem party was the awareness that they couldn't tell the truth about their agenda. They and I knew that to do so would mean defeat at the polls. Their entire public agenda was a total lie. In meetings they were very up front about that. They knew. So they hid, misdirected and lied. They obviously are still doing it.
