I understand that large road projects bring jobs, and all of the private companies in the civil construction biz love these kinds of projects... but WTF is happening with the god damn tunnel through Seattle that the State DOT is running?

Who the fuck uses a tunnel boring machine that gets stuck when it encounters 42" diameter rocks or old pipes?

We must have one of the worst state DOTs in the fucking country.

They fucked up the 520 pontoon oversight as well.

Fire those fuckers and take away their pensions.
 
Oddly enough in Kent WA is The Fluke Company, the world leader in that type of equipment. They supplied the borers for the Chunnel between England and France
