With the technology at hand, it seems kind of dumb that home plate umpires continue to call balls and strikes. The crap calls are just going to get appealed anyway. Let the machine do it in the first place.
Home plate ump take a day off and just make the safe/out calls.
A Shit load of bad calls are still happening. The batters aren't challenging much and seem wrong more often than not when they do. Even the catchers are missing a lot of chances. They can only lose two and nobody wants to be the guy that loses them for the team.
