Sark thought he could keep his offense fresh by calling lots of quick 3 and outs

If it works he's an ahead of the curve genius
 
That blown coverage on the 4th quarter TD pass and the stupid double-pass probably saved Sark's ass from being fired on the field after the game.

Without those lucky plays, Bama's offense would have been a complete and utter shit show in the second half
