Did Snoop just say that Pete Carroll told him he wanted to coach UW?

I’d hazard a guess he wanted an NFL gig, he wanted to wait and see, UW couldn’t afford to lipo for a month.

if you want to doog this is why the DC position hasn’t been filled…

Pete says he wants the HC job but wants to see what NFL offers are first, UW cant wait a month for the HC position… UW can wait a month for Pete as DC if a favorable NFL job doesn’t come calling.

Even if after a month Pete takes some NFL job, UW should still be able to fall into a decent DC with the money they have. Also Chuck and Inoka are still just hanging around so it’s not like the position is impossible to fill if no one is answering the phone and it’s full John Don time.
 
I'm sure Pete would love a year, maybe two being coordinator with his son where they'd be teammates and not have a weird hc/coordinator/father/son dynamic. They could still have the father/son dynamic without work making it weird as they wouldn't have much to do with each other directly.

I'm sure he wants to be HC in the nfl and that even though he could easily be HC at some college, that he'd essentially be lying to recruits knowing that it's not going to be a long haul, at least when it's a coordinator it's implied that they could leave any offseason for a promotion.
I was on board with him coming here to be head coach, so him coming to be DC for a year or two would be nuts for recruiting.
