Meh. I hope, actually I assume, UW will be scouring the portal for a starting running back.

Lake. Donovan. Newton. The Bermuda Triangle of Husky Football.

He’s a really good pass catching back, of course Donovan didn’t use him that way. Running backs catch a lot of passes in DeBoer’s offense.

Then thoughts and prayers to the backs of our wide receivers.

In 3 years he has 9 total catches for 60 yards...

Good pass catching backs have quickness, balance, and vision

I have no idea wtf you are talking about.

Davis, McGrew and Pleasant were all noted as quality receivers out of the backfield at one time or another. Newton got shorted, maybe, but someone had to. There are only so many snaps available in a game...fewer than normal at UW.

Those guys are all just OK players. Sunday fits the group to a T, and I have no confidence at all that Berry even belongs at UW. They're all backups. There's room for a good starter to come in and be the main workhorse.

Emeka megwa could be good

You're right he could. He's an interesting one. He changed a lot between seasons in his highlights. I'm not sure what we're getting.

I think we see a lot more attrition after spring ball than this winter. The current players are all probably excited about their futures at UW at this point. Once a clear, defined pecking order shows itself after spring practices I assume we all see some player movement. Either former starters that slide down the depth or guys currently buried who remain so.
