Disney basically bought Orlando and the surrounding farm land for a song. The Florida Disney operation is a whole lot more than Disneyland. Colorado is like Oregon. Not going to be able to buy square miles of Denver suburban property and "develop" it. Dems don't do development. Plus, if Disney tried to sell after announcing it was leaving - who would pay top dollar?

I'm raising my kids on a steady diet of Predator, Wall Street and The Karate Kid, so I really DNGAF about Disney at all, but I love watching DeathSantis bitch slap them because they are leftist imbeciles, so it's nice. DS has been absolutely solid the last couple of years. On the correct side of the Covid and masking debate, the groomer issue and transgender men unfairly competing against biological women. They tried to cater to a small segment of their workers, the woke mob, and instead have woken an angry conservative mob nation wide, may have significant financial impacts to deal with if all the pissed off people cancel Disney Plus and stop enjoying their cruises/theme parks and now have lost self regulation ability in Florida (which appears to have been an absolute sweetheart deal). So, millions of pissed off customers (who may get over it quickly I have no idea), clear short term (at minimum) impacts tot he bottom line, pissed off stock holders (guaranteed), and politicians taking aim on you, all to make a couple hundred employees who bitch about everything anyway happy?

Not sure I'd trade millions in for for a few dozen activist trannies and groomers, but you do you Disney. There's always China, where they must care DEEPLY about gay rights, amirite?
