Way too many complaints lately about the tone and direction of the boards lately. To many discussions being thread jacked and being turned into the same few things way to often by the same guys over and over again. The constant pounding a from a few who feel determined to hammer how bad things are and how a few of the coaches suck has run it's course.
It's important to understad we're not advocating sunshine, rainbows, orange slices and juice boxes. The boards are meant to be a place where hardcore football fans can have discussions. The incesant complaining and threadjacking that's been going on has made that difficult. Especially when it's the same thing over and over again by the same posters. It's not only wearing great posts out, it's cauing some to leave. Who wants to listen it all day in every post?
Mods will be deleting posts that hijack threads. Posters who can't figure it out will be observers for a while. The Oregon trolls will be gone. Those who use profanity or turn things into race will be gone for a while as well as those who make things personal out here. Taking shots at the mods....not a good idea.
Expect the qulity of the boards to be better. Addition by substraction can be a good thing. This place is awesome when it's rockin. When the mob mentality starts, not so much.
