DeBoer's top contract demands?

Troy said in a interview at the Sugar Bowl, the most important thing to getting a deal done was making sure the coaches felt they had the resources to win. If there's a sticking point in the negotiation, this is it. Look at Saban's salary, he's worth a shit ton more, but he made plenty and Alabama always came up with the money he needed to compete at the highest levels.

It's not complicated:

Upper campus needs to pay off the stadium renovation.

Free up the boosters to fund player acquisition and retention

Pretty sure they saw influx of donations from alumni after this season. Only way to get though this is to spend more

I'd like to believe that after lurking on the bored last night, KDB is in there fighting to get the cash to pay for Fudgie's shrink.

OP is correct And right now you have an AD more focused on cutting costs to counterbalance a deep red budget than he is working with the President to fundraise with key alums and organize NIL.

Shutter all intercollegiate athletic programs at UW except football and softball.

Shift all savings into NIL

What say you?
Probably have to keep women’s soccer for Title IX. Works for me.

Softball and Football didn’t beat Hitler you ding dongs.

And we’ve never lost a corch to another school.

Real talk, all he's said when asked about an extension is that Dannen is doing all he can to help out with the contract. Translation: It's not enough support for me to win national championships here.

He's going to coach somewhere that allows him to win the playoff consistently. If UW had the top NIL program, he'd still be coach.

Demand #1: Be Alabama

Exactly

Both of these.

Also have a region that actually has talent to recruit (not that it seems like he could sign them anyway). California is what about to ban football. Washington/Oregon combined produce 2-3 guys a year who are legit FBC prospects now and their guarded by guys who hate the school for some reason.

Coach in a place where your passing offense doesn't have to deal with torrential rain 5-6 games a year.

As great as this offense was the next coach has to be able to run and adapt to the weather.

Scoring 0 points against beavlet in the second half, 9 total against ASU in the next shittiest weather game at home.

Crew is the last non-revenue sport you'd cut at UW. And furthermore, I'd say you cut hoops before crew at UW.

I'll fight any one of you pals that disagrees.

UW Football
UW Crew

Everything else....
