I assumed there was a decent chance they would bring in Velling in the portal but I assume he's either loyal to Smith because he offered him when UW didn't or UW for whatever reason wasn't that interested.
I thought someone on here had speculated they had a good shot at getting Ioane and Nabou to come home but then nothing. Deboer and Huff should have been able to get Ioane to recommit and not move across the whole country to play for James Franklin. Sucks to see he's already getting projected as an All-Big 10 guy.
