DeBoer and Petersen as recruiters?

One guy leveled up to 8-5 and then quit and the other only recruits Idaho State caliber players.
 
DeBoer sucks so USC is going to hire him

The next couple cycles should be very interesting. Getting better media exposure in the B1G could help.

Boston is a great talent, I think Lyons is too. Mack looks good?
 
So far Deboer recruits better on offense while Pete did better with defense. No surprise. It's an offensive game now more than ever though. The spector of the UW offense contributes to the defense through the pressure it puts on the other team, very similar to the Chipster teams at Oregon.

I'm actually impressed with the DBs UW is bringing in now. If they can step up the talent acquisition in the front 7 a bit it's going to get speshal. Pete's ceiling was a conference championship. Deboer's is higher and he probably doesn't need top 15 classes to reach it.

UW got to the semifinals in 2016, so Deboer would more or less have to reach the national championship game to raise the bar.

Pete built a tremendous culture, but no doubt Deboer is the better game-day coach by far.

Good enough to win a playoff game or two in a 12-team format with recruiting classes consistently outside the Top 15?

Only if UW is able to land 3-4 big-time players in the transfer portal every offseason imo.

That's probably gonna take a lot more resources flowing into the NIL slush fund

I don't really think of hopeless matchup in the national semis as a higher achievement than a league championship. Probably not an argument I could win but it's my feeling about UW 2016.

DeBoer is way ahead of Pete in terms of coaching scheme on offense so we should do better if the development is there. Working against DeBoer, of course, is NIL

Yeah, I'm pretty confident that nothing Inge and company do will even sniff the defensive player development we saw under Pete and Kwat.

I know it’s early but I’m over the D staff already. Offense will be good next yr but not all world like this year. Defense will have to be much better next year as they won’t have an all world O to carry them regardless. I like to call them D and O.
