Danny Shelton Moving up Draft Boards

Shelton is pretty much a lock as a top 15 pick now, and the Bears are rumored to want him at pick #7. I remember people saying he could slip all the way out of the 1st round way earlier this year. It's pretty awesome for him.

Isn't Stephen Paea of the Corvallis Beavers locking down the DT spot on the baers?

With Fangio joining as defensive coordinator, they might move to a 3-4. Shelton would seem like a perfect fit as a nose tackle there.

after his senior bowl/combine (where he'll run a decent 40 for his size), there would be no way he slips out of the first round lol (add in the fact he's an academic all-american so no character concerns)

EDIT: Matter of fact if the seahawks passed on him I'd be furious given the value that late...

could use him but he'll do really well at senior bowl. Doubt he slips out of top15-18. He is amazing at nose tackle. Watching him sideline-sidleline is impressive to watch. Just shows how athletic he is.

But how did Peterman have no talent?

How does your defense with maybe 4 first-round picks perform so great at times and so poorly at others?

The UCLA game was a scary precursor to what next season could be like. I think we develop some guys, but that was ugly.

But how did Peterman have no talent?

Maybe b/c one of the players spent most of his time with his hips pointed towards a coaches neck, and another guy spent most of his time trying to rectify our dreckful backfield instead of playing the position which made him an all-american.

I heart peters. Would have been nice to see him just be an asshole, instead of being an abusive asshole to boot.
