That has always been the case in the Portland market during my life...the oversized celebrity status of sports writers and announcers too. There aren't many fame worthy personalities to be had around here so Portland takes who they can get.

That has always been the case in the Portland market during my life...the oversized celebrity status of sports writers and announcers too. There aren't many fame worthy personalities to be had around here so Portland takes who they can get.

The core Blazer guys are pretty professional, but then you have guys like Josh Wilcox, or Nigel Burton who just used his show as a platform to bitch about his 'unfair' coaching stint at Portland State.
