Did Utah really think they had a good chance of landing him? He's been a UW lean for months. I can't even imagine the meltdown on this board if our plan B guy was a PWO candidate at other Pac12 schools.

They should digitize these things so they can put the recruits name up there and then change as couches are sold. Only a few hundred thousand dollars for the upgrade.

I also think that would be cool, but Oregon was cited for a recruiting violation along similar lines.

"During fall 2016, the football program gained a recruiting advantage when it arranged for the use of personalized recruiting aids for 36 prospects during their campus visits. Specifically, the program created an electronic presentation that included each prospect’s name, statistics and a high school highlight video. Oregon displayed the presentation in the football equipment area during the prospects’ unofficial and official paid visits."

Agreed that would suck. We just need to find some walkons that happen to have the same name as 5 star recruits. I am sure there is some dude on Campus named Daniel H. That would love to be on the football team for a week.

so it's interesting but Bama has 28 commits already for this year, and yet they still have 5 visitors this weekend (all 4 and 5 star guys) who are not committed to Bama...that doesn't obviously even include Henry...they recruit relentlessly until the final whistle. interesting strategy.
 
When you got your shit together and win you can have hot chicks come over all the time and worry about cutting dead weight later.

That's a strategy available only for the strong.
