One thing I somewhat appreciate is that Jimmy Daugherty and Jordan Paopao likely encouraged Fisch to take the job based upon their time at UW. Daugherty only left UW after the 2012 season to become OC at San Jose State (he had only been OC at San Diego up to that point) and Paopao should wear it as a badge of honor that Jimmy Lake didn't retain him after Coach Pete retired.
