BYU fan did an admirable job of getting this trending by Twitter tagging every media outlet about 20 drunk kids chanting “fuck the Mormons”(I assume that was the chant)

From the coverage this has garnered, you’d think it was led by the UO marching band….

I pretty sure the fact that BYU and it's fans were all roundly smeared for something that never happened (Duke volleyball player claiming she was repeatedly called the N-word) had a lot to do with BYU fans trying to promote this issue. The double standard is indeed a little galling.
 
Find every last one of them on the vid and kick them the hell out of school.

They probably all watch NSNBC and CNN and think the hoax was true. And if they’re that dumb they belong elsewhere.

They should all be writing letters of apology to BYU and the Mormons.

Agreed, and it would have already been done if they had been yelling "fuck the Muslims" but for some reason you can insult and denegrate some religions but not others.
 
Kate Brown’s words are pretty hallow at this point. As are those of the UO admin. They need to nip this in the bud, yesterday.

This shit ain’t hard if you believe in standards of behavior at your athletic events. BYU did an entire investigation.

This is probably not even in the top 20 of horrible student section chants at Autzen or Mac/Matt court.

Chanting “your son hates you” at Henry Bibby loudly enough to force FSN to kill the audio and go to a commercial break still makes me chuckle.

And then I remember that I’m an adult now and that’s an extremely crass and unnecessary thing to chant at another human being.

But that was Barack Obama’s America and tensions were high….

We got two commits this weekend.

Oregon (not Lane) got 0 and even had a recruit leave the game in disgust from the anti Mormon chants.
