D.J. Johnson, 2017 7* BUCK, Miami (Da U), FL - transferring?

This only makes sense if we feel good about landing Jeremiah Martin. It would have been great to get both but realistically we only have room for 1 of the 2. Maybe Johnson's forgettable freshman year at the U turned off our coaches?

Fuck coach pete, why the fuck did he not take DJ? Tevis is alright, but he really thinks that we'll be fine with Ryan Bowman? We were terrible last year because we had fucking Wooching on the edge.

honestly, fucking BBK might get drafted. media loves him and points him out as one of the best players from UW already. some dumb team is gonna watch his highlights against montana and draft him at the 6th round or something.

Abdul Malik-McClain and Jeremiah Martin are both BUCKs they have targeted in this cycle.

As I said when things initially came out that he was going to transfer...I didn't know if UW wanted him that badly... there are reasons why teams don't pursue recruits... that's something you have to understand and realize you don't have all of the information.

If I was Ektard, I wouldn’t use a guy that transferred to Montana St in my arguments about good BUCK recruiting ... but that’s just me
 
It’s fine, no big deal. There is clearly no red flags or anything about our recruiting on the edge or anything like that. This is fine! Anyone that wants to question our recruiting there is an idiot and doesn’t get it, who do you think you are, Pete or something? I trust the coaches. It’s fine, we are fine, everything is fine.

Ryan Bowman had like 6 sacks last year! I’d like to see you try and do that! We are totally fine, watch the Championship game tonight and you won’t see much difference from the edge play in that game to our team. Some tuff guy you are!
