Just to set the record straight California has just said that they will require the vaccine for children once the vaccine has full approval for children in grades 7th thru 12th grade. They don't expect that to go into full effect until July of 2022 or later if it takes longer to get full approval. Children as young as 5 once the vaccine is fully approved for that age group. When it is fully approved not emergency approval it must be fully approved for it to be on the required vaccine list. California is one of the states that requires the most vaccines for children to attend public school but it's also supper easy to get a religious waiver.

As a side note, I hate how the vax army has me sounding like an anti-vaxxer. Location superiority guy alert, but I'm glad I live in a place that isn't going to mandate my 5 yo be vaxxed when it's more likely she'll be killed by airplane falling out of the sky.
