Cuog couch sale

This story ends with RN as public enemy #1 in Pullman within about two years. If he manages a winning record his eye will start wandering before season one is over. No way he has any measure of success there that lasts more than two seasons
That was Slick Rick 25 years ago. He has one final, four year run left in him and no big time program is going to hire him. The guy is pushing 65.
I don't think it can happen in Pullman again given the landscape now, unless it happens out of the blue in year one.

Anyone good will get poached once seen.
Nobody is going to poach 67 year old Neuheisal.
WSU's problem the last couple of hires has been that they hired younger guys who obviously are looking to grow their careers and would not be content staying in Pullman. That is the exact opposite of Neuheisal.

I'm talking about the players getting poached, not Rick.

He'll have to win, out of the blue, in one year, as anyone good/great will get stolen.

With the new P12 conference starting next year it sounds like all the schools in it are going to be pretty equally resourced, so in terms of winning games in a conference and have a pretty decent record those are still both achievable even with the inevitable talent losses from the roster. All the P12 schools will be fighting that same problem. They won't have CFP caliber teams, though.

WSU needs to pony up the NIL money to get some players to stick around
Pussy and a new truck can only go so far.
It's like 2.X million. You can just barely be Division I with that.
Even their own fans are running the numbers on their alum base and asking WTF on that one.
It's never going or be acknowledged and I get that, but a major part of the WSU/OSU situation is just having people in charge that know fuck all about running a business but then all the sudden had to. And they were particularly bad at it even compared to AD's at other Pac schools.

Whoa
I thought he would get at least 1 more season. That's more shocking than what has transpired at Penn State.
Maybe Michigan knows internally that they did cheat and it was never going to happen with this guy.

Beat Ohio State and make the playoffs and you are free to knock up the staff.

the two best coaches in the history of their program are two hours away
