Cuog/Bear dirty air Game Thread

1st post from me. I am looking at this from a different angle then just “we sucked, got blown out, Falk sucks, leach ain’t good” etc. Did anyone actually believe that we were going to the playoff? Let alone compete in it? Heck, we weren’t going to go undefeated. I’m looking at this as a wake up call. Can’t overlook opponents, being top 10 doesn’t mean anything among them. If before the season I could make the cougs 6-1 I’d do it. They know they can beat anyone, (USC) comeback and win (Boise) complete game (every other game especially Oregon) and lose. We got eliminated from the CFB tonight. Good. Alamo, fiesta, cotton, etc. are all still available. if we had to lose a game the rest of the way, this it. Granted, losing isn’t fun, especially getting slaughtered, but sometimes it needs to happen to get a message to the players. Reminds me of the 2014 patriots when they got destroyed by the chiefs and won the super bowl. We’re OK, it become such a routine to call for leach and falks head, just relax. Falk had a bad game, ok wow he’s a human college quarterback. All in all, look at it as a blessing, rather than a season killer.

Well fuck. Usually you kill teams and soften them up for their next opponent. The thing is that You probably did and if Cal would have played say Arizona the week before it could have
been 66-3. Falk sucks. Our Oline sucks. Our receivers kinda suck. But really it’s all about the Falk suck. I knew we weren’t a top 10 team. And if Bambi aka as Falk keeps this shit up
We win 1 or 2 games more tops.

However you know it’s Friday the 13th when a team that beats WSU has their fans rush the
Field. Never seen that before.

It doesn’t bother me. They deserve it. Leach certainly was out coached tonight for sure. WSU was smart early and ran the ball 3 times against the worst run defense in college football and it worked. And then they stopped doing it.

The Blueprint to stop Falk has been out there for awhile. Wilcox was smart enough to implement it knowing that WSU couldn’t help themselves by ignoring the running game. Drop 8 on early downs. And send a 4 th and 5th rusher on 3rd and 4th. Leach and Falk weren’t smart enough to keep running it. All props to Cal though. They brought it all damn night.
