Not really that weird, we were never really in it for McCoy and he was rumored to be considering Texas right up to early signing day although everyone knew he was going to sign with SC. We weren't in the picture at that point. Honestly we were never really in the picture except for Roof's massively doogish "70% shot at McCoy" post. We might have been third at best for McCoy but it was a very distant third behind Texas who was distant behind SC. But that was before he knew SC lied to him.

Ford having Oregon as his second choice was a much bigger surprise than this but even that was rumored off and on (mostly by our bored quooks).

Not having a WR coach this season definitely hurt. Hopefully Adams gets it together for us.
