Oldest brought the 'Rona home from school. He cleared it in 4 days with a low-grade fever and some snot (although he now says his goldfish crackers don't taste great). Second is mid-stream. I am bringing up the rear - pun intended - with mild fever and some congestion. The Beard and I are getting our things in order in preparation for my likely demise.

God's speed. At least you won't have to worry about dementia.

When I saw the title, this is where I went with it.

I finally caught it. All it took was a 24 hour car ride with someone who was coughing up a lung, then 3 more days of golf with said person. Gave me what I would have considered an annual cold for about the last 50 years or so. Stuffy head, nose and ears. Kind of tired for about 5 days. No fever. But I'm guessing if I would have been vaxxed, it would have been much better.

Tell the beard that you wish to donate the estate to Hardcore Husky

Fever gone in 36 hours. Took tylenol once to take the edge off after letting it ride all day to allow my immune system to do its thing without interference. Occasional cough now. Felt like a bad cold for one day. Should be 100% in a couple days. Energy levels are back to 90%.

Don't be scared unless you look like Fetters.

Glad to know you’re not a pussy like Trublue

Sure, Damone. There’s absolutely no difference between the effects from the Delta variant and the Omicron variant, says the Dildo that ran out and got the J&J vax . . . THAT’S YOU!

If you were as smart as you think, you would not have run out and got any experimental “vaccine” and call a person a “pussy” that speaks the truth.

FYI: I’m fit . . . 5’11”, 180 lbs, exercise regularly. My only co-morbidity is that I’m over 65. I am not morbidly obese, not diabetic, no diagnosed cardiovascular disease. I am unvaxxed.

I got the Delta variant, not the Omicron variant.
If you think there is/was no difference between the transmissibility and/or the seriousness of their effects . . .

Seriously, FUCK OFF.

It’s a 48hr ride.

A little cough
Mild headache
Low grade fever
Fair amount of exhaustion
Some yellow lung butter

For two days. DayQuil, Ibuprofen, some Halls, maybe a cup or two of herbal tea.

Easier than the seasonal cold I’m used to getting on an annual basis this time of year, which usually knocks me down 3-4 days. This was quicker and milder.

Glad we’re all wearing masks and getting 3 jabs and shutting down elective surgery and indoor events...

Why so angry, pussy.

Don't be mad at me that your immune system is weak. That's on you. Pussy.

Also, nice use of caps. You'd fit in nicely on educk.
