How exactly do you teach history in our country without bringing up race and racism? I feel like we were founded on slavery and might have brought a few people here to just be slaves. It wasn't until 1965 that black people were on a level playing field legally for votes. Into the 70s black people couldn't even eat in the same restaurant white people in some places (places not adhering to the laws passed in the 60s). To say our society hasn't been impacted by race is ignorant and an attempt to white wash our history.

Hondo, did you buy that strawman dinner before the ass phucking and lying started? No one is talking about not teaching the history of the treatment of blacks in the US. What they are opposed to is the lie that your skin color has anything to do with the content of your character. I don't know if you noticed, but it isn't 1963 in the South. It's 2021 and when you are reduced to looking at sh*t that may have happened 50 years ago, then you don't really have a point.

What is clear to today is the white kids are pretending to be black or American Indian to get into the college. Colleges are discriminating against white and Asian males. Some white privilege. American companies are desperate to hire and promote blacks and hispanics. Being a white male is definitely a handicap in big business. When you support that hard work, being on time, reading to your kids and paying attention in the class room, and the ability to get a state ID are signs of systemic white racism, then you are the racist. Congrats.

Hell, even in 2008 I was passed over for a management position with Walmart when I had just graduated for a Latina with tattoos all over her face... my black boss at the time was pissed. I'm thankful though as I had a good career after that in banking...
