Cristobal spotted at Auburn airport

Cristobal is getting started here. If he lands another top 10 class, it will turn into a cakewalk. He has a better shot at the playoffs at Oregon. It’s once he gets there.

You aren’t signing great players. TBS dummies are so confused when a team with the 25th class beats the team with the #10 class. The difference in talent between those is pretty small. You lost to Cal and Oregon State this year. There are UW fans just as dumb as you that believe the same thing.

Oregon will never have a cakewalk to Pac 12 titles with Cristobal. Not saying they have no shot either, but thinking you’re going to have elite talent that is going to dominate is delusional. You won’t.

Elite talent is good when the coach is good. It sucks when you have a coach that sucks. It’s hard.

So far Cristobal has made Herbert look like shit and lost to Beavlet/Cal.

He won a damn Rose Bowl and now the seniors, juniors are classes that were mismanaged. It doesn’t take a lot of digging to see this.

Husky fans in 2016 thought we would continue to improve and break thru. You had a good season in 2019. You were not dominant tho.

You’re never going to run out a team that is markedly more talented than every other team in the conference. It hardly ever works that way.

I’m not bashing Oregon and they will likely continue to be a threat, but a Chip like run isn’t happening with Cristobal. Take your screenshots.

Can’t say if true but still funny and I could see Auburn flying Barkley out in reality

OMG it’s happening. Urban Meyer is now following Tryweezy Bridges, one of Oregon’s most important players and an obvious choice on who to contact first from the roster. Urban only follows 257 people, so it’s pretty obvious what’s going on.

Oregon's last hires were Taggert and Christo, so now they're going to get Urban and force him to recruit to Eugene when he'll have LA and Austin as choices?

Skeptical.

So for those not following, JHop posted an update at 4:30 basically saying Auburn offered last night, Oregon countered and now Auburn has re-countered. ScoopDuck went all ScoopDuck, knowing that we can’t match Auburn dollar for dollar. Then out of nowhere, JHop nuked the thread and posted the cryptic update above when his subscribers rightfully got pissed. Now we’re all waiting on a presser at 6PM where I’m sure we’ll get a bunch of coach speak and “I want to talk about USC.”

Things are going swimmingly in the world of Ducks football tonight. Rejoice Huskies, rejoice.

DOOG IT UP!!!!

This reeks of Taggart leaving. Mario would have put out a statement already if he was firmly set on staying at UO. Signing Day is Wednesday, FFS. How much is Phil willing to pony up to keep a good recruiter but average (at best) head coach?

Per Canzano Oregon is offering 7 years 40 million. If true Auburn has/will blow that out of the water.

Pac-12 doesn't have the cash to hang on to coaches that are desired by the SEC. If Auburn truly does want him and goes for $7m+/year, then I'm scratching my head as to why they'd choose Cristobal. At that rate, they can get almost anyone that isn't currently in the SEC or at a blueblood.
