Nevin Shapiro can’t leave Club Fed, so this makes sense. At least Willie had the decency to get interviewed in Phoenix, jet fuel prices are through the roof right now. But I don’t fault the kids for wanting a Stanford education or middle aged Cubans for wanting to flee communism.

I honestly wouldn’t be that upset. It’s actually surprising that Cristobal is one of four current P-5 head coaches to have a winning percentage over 75% at their current school with a minimum of four seasons. Saban, Dabo, and Lincoln Riley are the others. Ryan Day needs one more season and that ol’ cuck Jimbo is close at aTm but over the threshold if FSU is included. It doesn’t feel like Cristobal belong with those guys, because he doesn’t.

I hope the next coach has Florida as his dream job, I just need one more to complete the set.
