Didn't our most prize recruit for next year (Anthony James) decide he didn't want to be a part of the Texas A&M NIL shit-show and everyone wondered why?

Here's some rumors that are circulating. Sounds like Texas A&M has some issues.

I laughed reading this because its like a doog wet dream for Oregon's highly paid recruits to tear the program down yet the lucky ducks play hard and play together..

The real rumor is the 3 suspended were smoking weed in the locker room on purpose to get dismissed.
 
At uw we would call that abuse for slapping candy out the hand of a student athlete and fire our Under performing coach.

Then probably go cheap on everything going forward.

Curious if any chance Mark Nobu (sp?) has any cold feet in College Station. Local recruit last year. Seemed an unusual fit to go there. Anyways, I’m sure USC will know before UW

So true. There should be a contract where the players receive a healthy stipend until they are RS sophomores or juniors at which point the big money rolls in with a certain amount of snaps earned on the field. You still run the risk of paying out big money for a player like Smalls but at least he's been incentivized to put forth effort for a few years leading up to his playing tim. If the player earns the snaps early, they get their payday early.

Not a one of us would have handled it well at 17 either. Hell Fudgie's like 21 and he can't keep a Twitter handle from getting banninated.

Bama has been paying players for years as the highest bidder and never had an issue. They may not be the highest bidder now but their boosters do the same thing.
