Jason Isbell is one of the greatest song writers of his generation regardless of genre. If you like country music and don't know who he is then you probably like pop country dog shit. And if you've ever liked a country song that has an ironic rap verse in the middle (Nelly, etc) you simply have horrible taste.

Like I said, ones I posted are Not my traditional vintage country I prefer abundance but a few modern tunes are not bad .....then there’s some the lyrics help. I should have said Modern country in the title. I no likey most modern country but some sound pretty decent, especially kicked back by the fire.

Yeah, I like some stuff by Aldean like the tune I posted. Like the fact he’s a fellow outdoorsman and hunter as well. In case you didn’t know, he has a few accolades under his name many never received in all their years. Most his stuff I don’t care for.
